I walk it almost every day.  30-35 minutes, at a brisk but not crazy fast pace via Carroll.  Easier and faster the way back, as it is down hill.  The downtown area is closer; my family walks up there quite a bit, but understandably that might not be an option for everyone.  I think the neighborhood is nicely located near trails, schools and the downtown, while maintaining it's quieter feel.  [/quote]

I live on the other side of Sligo Creek and it’s .9 miles to the metro from where I live.  40 minutes if you are walking fast from that address.[/quote]
