Need based aid does nothing for middles families in this area unless they are making big sacrifices to save everything towards college. And before you start screaming that this doesn't apply to middle class families, a GS 12 or 13 married to a teacher is middle class, makes too much for need based aid, and aren't going to be able to save 400k per kid for college (especially not if they are paying for private school) [/quote]
