You either got the help by asking or whining.[/quote] They paid for my wedding when I was 21. They paid for college. That’s it. Once I was out of college, I never took money from them. How embarrassing! I’m an adult, ffs. We bought our first home using a VA loan. We have since bought and sold six homes. Never asked for help with a down payment, medical bills, daycare, school, ….. Not because we are super wealthy, but because we are adults perfectly capable of taking care of ourselves. I would feel like such a loser if I had to ask for money. Unless it was truly an emergency.[/quote]
