He is a dedicated Marxist (seriously - he says he is a Marxist). Glad he is out of the US. Hope they don’t let him in again.
So that should make him a front-runner in any democrat primary race, wouldn’t it?
except he's a R. These days Rs seem to love Putin. Don't recognize the R party anymore. -former R
Really? I'm calling you out for your "former R" shtick. You know Bush I got us into a mess in Iraq and Afghanistan. Is that the old R party you miss? I'm not aware of any widespread sentiment in favor of Putin among actual, credible Republicans or their voters either. But I am aware of some posters on DCUM trying to pretend there is.
DP I am just surprised more Republicans don’t leave the Trumpublican party … it definitely does not resemble the Republicans of old. I strongly disagreed with the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq due to lack of evidence of WMD. However, let’s not kid ourselves that the antics of Republicans at Trump mass rallies and neo Trump rallies resemble Republican behavior in the past. The public conduct now is shocking.
+1 I'm the former ^R. I voted for both Bushes. Yes, Bush admin lied about WMD, and how they treated Valerie Plame was the reason that I left that party. Regardless, you know that Rs, at least prior to Trump, were all about getting involved in foreign affairs, right? So yea, if Bush was in power, we would do more than impose sanctions. That was actually their strong point, irrespective of how you feel about it. Today's Rs are populists who don't want to get involved with foreign affairs. They have an isoliationist strategy which is the antithesis to the free trade R party prior to Trump. Look at how Trump praised Putin and Russia. He wanted to be buddy buddy with Russia. The Russians did a great job of infiltrating the R party and making them look more favorable to Rs. You had Russian assets infiltrate the R party. Reagan would be turning over in his grave. I'm in my 50s, so my brand of R goes way back. What we have today is RINO.
