Please the vast majority of republicans supports Putin and are cheering the Russians on. Why because the republicans want to replace the current US system of government with the Russians model. Yes, Bush admin lied about WMD, and how they treated Valerie Plame was the reason that I left that party.

Regardless, you know that Rs, at least prior to Trump, were all about getting involved in foreign affairs, right? So yea, if Bush was in power, we would do more than impose sanctions. That was actually their strong point, irrespective of how you feel about it.

Today's Rs are populists who don't want to get involved with foreign affairs. They have an isoliationist strategy which is the antithesis to the free trade R party prior to Trump.

Look at how Trump praised Putin and Russia. He wanted to be buddy buddy with Russia. The Russians did a great job of infiltrating the R party and making them look more favorable to Rs. You had Russian assets infiltrate the R party. Reagan would be turning over in his grave.

I'm in my 50s, so my brand of R goes way back. What we have today is RINO.
