But that has to be hand washed, right? We eat popcorn all the time but my dislike of both hand washing and unitaskers has made me stick to the pot. I’m tempted by the speed of the whirly pop though!  [/quote]

Yeah, the hand washing is annoying. And I hate unitaskers and gagets - my kitchen is pretty streamlined with just the right size pots and pans and utensils to cover almost everything. But I do find the end result far superior and worth it. The bottom part is just like a pot, so no extra cleaning for you. You need need to take an extra minute to to the top part with all the moving parts.
