Whirley pop with the colored coconut oil and artificial butter topping.

So unhealthy but it tastes exactly like the movie theater.

We have the Opopop Popcorn Popper for the microwave and love it! Especially the discs with the flavors. Tasty, everyone gets what they want, and good portion sizes.

I have an air popper that is at least 40 years old and still going strong. Best single use appljance ever. Someone moving gave it to me about 20 years ago when I was poor and never said no to free stuff!

Whirly pop was ok but it wasn't the greatest and it was a pain to clean. We used once or twice and then passed it on to someone else.

Orville Redenbacher kernels are blah and we found they were old a lot of the time. Same for store brands.

Trader Joes kernels are pretty decent and we have had good luck.

Also we use popcorn salt - it's finer grain then table salt.

After popping she sprays it lightly with olive oil spray + salt.

But that has to be hand washed, right? We eat popcorn all the time but my dislike of both hand washing and unitaskers has made me stick to the pot. I’m tempted by the speed of the whirly pop though!

Yeah, the hand washing is annoying. And I hate unitaskers and gagets - my kitchen is pretty streamlined with just the right size pots and pans and utensils to cover almost everything. But I do find the end result far superior and worth it. The bottom part is just like a pot, so no extra cleaning for you. You need need to take an extra minute to to the top part with all the moving parts.

I've never had more than 3 unpopped kernels, and never burnt it even a little.

My stove top popcorn in the Whirley pop comes out tough for some reason. I liked the air popped corn from the machine we had when I was a kid, maybe I should get one.

Whirly pop. Add 2 tablespoons of refined coconut oil with 3 kernels. Once the 3 have popped add 1/2 cup kernels while keeping whirly pop or the pot you are using off the stove top for 30-60 seconds. Then put back on stove top and pop until you hear the kernels stop popping.

I love my air popper. We eat popcorn frequently so it’s worth it. I’ve tried a microwave silicone bowl popper, stovetop pan and a whirly pop and I prefer this. No clean up and no burning ever.
