[/quote] Nothing is entirely true if you parse it. There is speed and endurance. You can train to do more intervals at speed and consider it endurance. Speed loss in a 2nd half or anytime based on fatigue in a soccer game is primarily mental unless the athlete is grossly out of shape in which case both speed and endurance benefit from training I was giving athletes the benefit by treating them as in shape.
