Police don’t deter crime.
So if people were shooting guns outside of your child's school playground and then carjackings are starting in the neighborhood, what do suggest? And for those who say "Move to another neighborhood - you moved to a bad neighborhood" do you say that because you don't think that people who live in the city outside of Chevy Chase/Tenleytown/Palisades/Forest Hills/Woodley Park, etc.. neighborhoods are not deserving of safety because they are outside of the Ward 3 bubble? Please move out to Bethesda/McLean/Potomac and take your BLM yard sign and Tesla with you....we don't need you in the District. We need people who care about the community. Thank you for the others who care and are providing insights on who to contact... does the DC Council Education Committee have any influence on school safety? We don't live in Ward 5 so are not familiar with Councilmember McDuffie- good to know that he does not seem to be very responsive. I suppose hiring a private security service to patrol would at least provide more surveillance -anyone's school use a private security service and have a recommendation for a company? Please take good care of each other and thanks again-
