You’ll be able to find a nanny or preschool teacher, OP, who will be happy to take the job for $30 an hour. The teacher’s assistants in our school make $20 an hour. We had a daycare teacher on weekends precocious who was paid $15 an hour at a reputable daycare and was happy to work for us on Saturday’s for $25 an hour. Put it on care.com and you’re going to get thousands of responses.
+1. For some reason, this particular forum has constant naysayers when anyone posts about any specific job. (Hours are too long, hours are too short, Weekend jobs are hardest to fill, weekday jobs are hardest to fill, etc). Repost on the nanny forum, OP. Bottom line is $30 is a good hourly wage and six hours on a weekend day is an easy gig.
