[/quote] You can laugh about it, but it's something to watch for and be aware of, because it can snowball into *never* leaving your house. Anxiety tends to get worse if left untreated. I don't necessarily mean medication, but being self-aware and working on yourself using exposure-type therapy. Agoraphobia, germophobia and hypochondria run in my father's side of the family. One aunt can't travel anymore, one cousin had to change jobs because she couldn't use public transport, and my father is slowly getting to the never-leave-the-house because he's afraid of germs.
