There aren't any equity goals except the ones that exist in their imagination. Equity just happens to be a convenient scapegoat. Now I can't claim that CogAT is the best way to identify students. It might be worth rethinking these things but I am for basing this on merit determined by objective measures. I also believe there are far more kids that can do this work than there are seats so feel the programs should be expanded 2-3 fold. [/quote]

Very true. Also, only the crazies or a few trying to mislead others and spread angst go on about equity. Selection is race-blind as a matter of law. [/quote]
