[/quote] Yes, DC United Academy is a mess. The owners completely gutted the program, slashed the budget, and let go lots of staff. Not they're preparing to move to Loudon, which will be deadly for many current players and families. [/quote] The move won't be deadly - I doubt anyone will quit over it. It will be annoying for some families and others will welcome it, depending on where they live. You're right about the gutting of the program though - DCU invests a great deal less in its youth program than any other MLS team in the country.[/quote]
