Without defining the terms on these items, everyone's just going to be talking past each other. Is the 1619 Project a specific set of news articles or is it anything that focuses on the evils of slavery in America? Is CRT a distinct field of legal study or is it anything that has to do with anti-racism? The answer is probably somewhere in the middle for both issues. But these are really just excuses for liberals and conservatives to have another cultural proxy war, not really caring much about the underlying issue but really enjoying using whatever is handy as a rhetorical cudgel with which to hit the other side over the head.
