It is possible for them to have a receptical and when you are being sold a DW, the sales person will try to sell you a conversion kit. Most installers don't bother with that unless there is aready a plug there. I've been trough 4 kitchen remodels and was the GC for two of them.[/quote] I love all of the know-it-alls on this site. The answer is that they are done both ways. Sometimes you direct wire it, and sometimes you plug it in. Either way, it's white / black / ground. Read any installation manual.[/quote]
