It isnt annoying. Its more akin to a project for a first grader IMO. It was meant in jest like jeesh this is only the beginning of all the to-dos related to school :lol:. I remember being a kid and asking my mom constantly for stuff we needed to get for projects or science fair or stupid assembles where we had to dress as a historical character. I have other strengths as a parent....doing hokey sh** like this is not one of them. But I have pictures of every single piece of art he has ever done at school on a private instagram and I hang up his "art/work" as it comes in every month and on days where his daycare is closed randomly we have mommy-son days and go for big adventures.

I am very invested in my child and he is never at daycare for more than 8 hours because of the way we stagger our schedules.

I also dont have photos of us lying around. My family was never big on "family" photos and the ones we send in- that have to be printed (no text or email with this teacher) :roll: - are usually me grabbing my DH and kid while we are on a hike or at the playground.

I think it is funny the vitriol of the responses as if doing projects like this are important and somehow formative for a 3 year old.
