Still are in some countries...when I go to my DH's home country, his family are like "why are you so skinny? You need to get fatter so you can be healthy and pretty!"[/quote] Yea, fat was attractive in countries and in historical times when food was scarce. Plump is still attractive in Africa, where people are starving, it is a sign of wealth, not so much here.[/quote]
