Still don't think this is Jay-Z and Beyonce's fault. Blame the hospital. And we're talking in suppositions here. We don't know that the health status of the parents trying to visit their children in the neonatal unit. If a parent was trying to gain access and their infant was in crisis, we don't know if they would've been denied access. That didn't happen, so there's no need to deal in "what if". Infants can be in the NICU for a number of reasons, most of which aren't life-threatening. Just a few things I noted from the article: How long was Ms. Nash-Coulon kept out of the NICU? She says she was told she could not enter and then she states that she was told that if she leaves, she would not be able to return. Which is it? Did they let her in or not? Edgar Ramirez was trying to get in to see his wife and newborn who was in the NICU. Claims to have been kept out for 3 hours. Was the newborn in crisis? Those details are left out. Because if the child was not in NICU for life-threatening reasons, what's the big deal? Go to the cafeteria; eat lunch, grab a coffee. Looks like two months ago Beyonce and Jay-Z paid for a "sixth-floor area previously used for medical observation before delivery had been cordoned off and was being rebuilt as a private suite, at no cost to the hospital." Don't blame them if the hospital, in its greed, didn't take care to ensure that their patients were not inconvenienced. They had two months to get that area in order. Lots of crazies out there. Blame the overzealous paparazzi or folks looking to sell a pic for money for this one. If I had hundreds of millions and I PAID for a private wing in a hospital, you'd better be sure I'm gonna use it. And at this point it looks like only one person was truly inconvenienced (Edgar Ramirez), so seriously what's the big deal in all of this?
