[/quote] Actually the boat, trailer, and motor only weigh 700 pounds altogether. My husband said he was trying to keep it small and light. And it's not like we're towing it up mountains; it's just a flat drive to the lake. I think we'd be okay, but I'll do more research. No plans to get a big boat. [/quote]
