Breakfast is usually one of these: -oatmeal w/ peanut butter & a piece of fruit -2 eggs & chicken sausage & whole wheat toast -smoothie w/ protein powder/greek yogurt & a bar like a Kind bar or Lara bar Lunch is usually one of these: -salad from home w/ white meat rotisserie chicken, boiled eggs, lots of veggies, & ranch or blue cheese dressing. Or a salad out w/ some type of protein in it. -turkey & cheese sandwich with a bit of mayo and spicy brown mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes plus veggies with hummus or pb for dipping -Triscuit crackers w/ ham, cheese, & hummus along with veggies like cucumbers, carrots, and celery for dipping -wrap sandwich with rotisserie chicken, lettuce, and buffalo sauce & Pringles and some celery sticks w/ pb Dinner: -I'm not a big red meat eater except for ground beef for hamburgers & a few other recipes I use it in. I usually buy the 93/7 ground beef. -I'm also not a big pork fan unless it is pulled/smoked pork with BBQ sauce on a bun or on nachos. -I tend to use lots of chicken breasts, fish, ground chicken, ground turkey, & rotisserie chickens -I'm also not a huge pasta fan, so I do that about every other week and it'll usually be like fresh ravioli from Wegmans -I like my veggies either raw or roasted - I can't stand mushy steamed veggies that just taste like soggy water Tonight for dinner we had pizza because it was storming & I got stuck at work late. I needed 1 key ingredient to make dinner & I didn't feel like getting out of the car in the rain to get it, so pizza it was! Last night we had grilled chicken breasts, roasted broccoli & asparagus, salad, and leftover rolls from the weekend. Tomorrow night we are having fresh raviolis from Trader Joes (what I didn't want to get out of my car to pick up tonight!), pasta sauce, turkey meatballs, and roasted summer squash I'm not a huge snack person, but I do keep some bars in my desk along with small bags of nuts and packs of crackers. I eat dessert almost every night - usually something like a few cookies, a brownie, some ice cream, etc. - unless I'm too full. We eat dinner out around once a week (M-F) and usually on Saturday evening as well.
