I thought the same, but:
--most Lexus models now have Apple CarPlay/Android Auto (which means you're using Apple/Google's interface for maps, spotify, etc.)
--most Lexus models have transitioned away from the old, awful touchpad/mouse thing and now have touchscreens (some still have the touchpad but you never have to use it)
--Lexus still has physical knobs and buttons for things like climate control, turning on heated/ventilated seats, volume knob, etc. I actually love having these functions in dedicated buttons that can be operated without having to take your eyes off the road. Touchscreens are great for maps, Spotify and Audible, but I hate the manufacturers that bury things like heated seat controls 3 menu layers deep on the touchscreen.

In short, Lexus' infotainment has been much improved with the move to touchscreen + CarPlay/A Auto. It isn't as cutting edge or sexy as the infotainment in higher-trim Audis, but it is much better than it was before and worth a second look.

If the Kia Stinger appeals to you, you might be able to snag a deal on one in the coming ~6 or 9 months as they are discontinuing it in 2022. Nothing wrong with the car; it's just that the market is trending towards Hybrid/Plug-in/Electric SUVs and Crossovers, and the sports sedan category in general is simply not selling.[/quote]
