Unmade beds are healthier--because they allow the sheets and mattress to air out between uses. Unless you make your bed with the duvet folded down to expose most of the sheet, you're actually trapping moisture by pulling the duvet over the mattress.
I've actually heard this too. An unmade bed is a cleaner bed. I personally am a 50/50 bed maker. I always make it if anyone will be coming to my home. Our kids or cat will always make sure our bedroom door is opened and it's right next to the bathroom. Our house is very clean. We do not leave dishes in the sink, we change our sheets weekly, our house is swept and dusted regularily, etc. So, if I actually have a spare minute in the morning I will make it. But, if we are in the least bit rushed it is the first thing on the chopping block.
