In this market, the nanny probably has lined up another job already. [/quote] That’s a pretty dickish way to treat someone you hired to take care of your child. In the summer, it’s not as easy to find a new job and if she’s in demand she could have turned down other jobs. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I dumped someone I promised to hire without giving some financial compensation. [/quote]
