So frustrating. This is not a medical/science based recommendation for the best interest of the patient. I guess the end date is when they age out of K-12 education? My students are in HS. Both fully vaccinated. They go to schools with high student and teacher vaccination. This is just ridiculous.
It’s so funny to me that now people think the Academy of Pediatrics is ridiculous and shouldn’t be listened to. When just 1 year ago they were the gold standard and no one was allowed to voice any different opinion.
It's so funny to me that now people think the Academy of Pediatrics SHOULD be listened to. When they didn't before when they advocated for school reopening.
We all understood that AAP was acting in the best interest of children with that recommendation, but did not think that the best interest of children should trump the safety of adults in a deadly pandemic. What’s your excuse for disagreeing with them now?
Actually, I did think that the best interest, safety, well-being, and future of children should be the highest priority. This meant in person schools.
+1
