We have never lived anywhere where the kids didn't have their own washrooms. They have never had to share. My DH and I have always had our own sinks too.
Congratulations. I grew up with no sink - our only bathroom faucet was over the tub, and all four people in the family took turns. And yet, I somehow managed not only to get a Harvard PhD but also to realize that rubbing my privilege into others' faces was poor form. Yet, it's so tempting sometimes, such as right now, with "Never-Had-to-Share" Lady. *smdh* OP, we have two stools because the smaller kid needed a higher stool than what the older kid was already using. It's kind of a pain to keep both in the bathroom, but one sort of fits under the other when not in use. If you can find stackable stools, that would probably be ideal. Two stools are also handy in the kitchen when they both want to help with cooking and baking and I can set them up side by side.
