I have 2 young adult DD's and a young one. I chose to buy tankinis for my girls when they were little (loved the Lands End ones!). When they got to be about your dd's age, they wanted bikinis-I'm not crazy about them, but together we would choose ones with more rather than less coverage. My little dd wears a rashguard and bottoms (we live in Fl now so need rashguards). As adults now my DD's still prefer bikinis with more coverage.[/quote]
