No response?  It's okay, I can update you.  There are fewer than 10 total girls that are going from SYC to VA Union.  Did you hear that?  Fewer than 10.  SYC hasn't prepared its girls to play competitively, and the merger wasn't for them.  It was for the boys, but they were not expecting to get MLS Next.  There will not be any difference in the future.[/quote]

Any ECNL caliber SYC player older than U13 left years ago for clubs like VDA, Arlington, McLean etc. There are not many U15 CCL players moving to ECNL from any club. Look at the older groups of Loudoun ECNL to see what happens when depleted CCL teams get thrown into ECNL.

The proof will be what 08, 09 and 10's from SYC make ECNL not how many older CCL players who never bother trying out or didn't make ECNL teams before still don't make a Union team now. [/quote]
