[/quote] My brother, who has been collecting unemployment, is not lazy. He's rational. People on DCUM don't seem to get that, for your typical exempt hourly worker, hours can be unpredictable in addition to the pay not being much better than unemployment. There is no promise that you're going to get 40 a week, no matter how willing you are to work 40 (or 50 or 60). And employers have been even more prone to call you off shifts during the pandemic.
