Reviewing the record, they lost two games by one goal each to the top team in the nation, which also has several players who were invited to the recent YNT training. The one draw against Loudoun in a game that I heard MYS dominated but didn't execute on multiple chances. There is room for new players but this is a team that will qualify for ECNL national playoffs. If you can play, then there is probably room but this is not Loudoun, Arlington, Bethesda or BRYC. Richmond, while good, is probably not the top team in the nation -  YSR has them eighth, a whole goal behind the top 3 which is a significant margin.  And all teams have games where they don't execute on multiple chances.

McLean is a good team, ranked third in the state.  There are doubtless many good players on the roster.  But to suggest that the entire roster is so strong that none of them can be replaced is silly.

There are relatively better teams which could not make that claim - and it is quite possible they are better because [b][i]they do not[/i][b] make that claim and instead welcome new players on to the roster, wherever they come from, each season.[/quote]
