I'm going to bet that most schools are not growing this year, what with the pandemic and potentially shrinking budgets. Fewer people applying = They are moving or going private, or they aren't attempting to change schools. So the only way those kids are staying in DCPS or DCPCS is there's a huge increase in everyone being super satisfied with their current school. That doesn't seem....realistic. [/quote] I can't imagine that many people moving in this real estate market, nor can I imagine that number of private school seats just magically opening? I'm guessing it must be NW families not playing the lottery this year, and choosing to stay in their present schools.[/quote]
