And that is where you are wrong. All of the media is so biased that it is necessary to watch/read multiple outlets to try to discern what the truth isn on any matter. However, to be intellectually honest, if a fox pundit turned on a rupub pres while he was in office the left would be blasting it everywhere.
My response is "Big deal!" He does not like the O's style. He says the policy is fine, but the pres doesn't use his bully pulpit. He's right, I suppose, and Reagan sure proved that style is important, but that's not what I would call a "slam". A slam is "The President should be impeached for ordering the assassination of American citizens." "The President should telephone members of Congress" is minor criticism, and I think it would be hopeless navel-gazing for the networks to make a big deal out of Chris Matthews' tactical advice.Anonymous wrote:So dems. Still waiting on your reaction to Mathews. This was the man who got a "shiver up his leg" for Obama. He isn't feeling the love anymore. Response?

The last 2 years of the bush administration was controlled by the democrats so it is more like the last 6 years you guys had the helm and failed. Yes the repubs failed prior to that but now it's our turn again. Also note that even george bush was able to get us out of the last recession pretty quickly so his ideas worked where as obama's have not helped. One could argue that it was due to prolonging the inevitable recession but 9-11, and the .COM crash were pretty massive.
You nailed it, Takoma! Thanks!takoma wrote:Ball fell under Bush's watch. Repubs did their best to screw up all Obama's attempts to pick it up (which I admit were half-hearted). So I'm not enthusiastic about Obama, but better a half-hearted attempt to fix things than more gung-ho f**king up.Anonymous wrote:please don't relect obama, please also eject the demos out of the senate. I do find it interesting that this event has been largely ignored when so much coverage has been given to his support of O.

Get your head out of Rupert Murdoch's ass and you might be surprised at what you see and hear.Anonymous wrote:Little or no coverage of his tirade by media. They jump all over the story when a Rep jumps on a Rep--not true here.

Seriously you are living in a paranoid alternate universe.
