I believe GA allows kids to play HS but they do not adjust their season schedule to accommodate HS soccer.

Currently ECNL does and if such a league realignment were to happen the writing is on the wall that HS soccer will no longer be scheduled around. Kids will have to make their choice, HS team or ECNL or ECNL. Star players can do what they want but bubble starters and subs might think twice about risking their ECNL spot for HS. [/quote]

It consolidates divisions and lessons travel. Less travel makes ECNL more affordable to more players. More players makes a stronger player pool. ECNL has no obligation to support HS sports. HS soccer doesn’t do anything to benefit ECNL in any way. Kids can still play HS soccer but killing off GA, making the league more affordable to more kids means a net gain.

Agree with consolidation of travel absolutely.  they would consolidate it with groups that still allow HS soccer.  that helps them get in all the player$$$$.[/quote]
