I am just going to wait. I would consider driving deeper into VA or getting a shot in central PA near family if that is easier at the time. There are places that are going to run out of demand well before Arlington where I live. The question is whether more will be supplied here or if I have to go out and get it.
+1. Another one that is last on the list. I work for a manufacturing company, but as a lobbyist, so I don't feel comfortable claiming that spot given I still work from home. I would not be against traveling to get a shot in a nearby state that has loosened its criteria so that I am eligible.
I get where you're coming from, but at this point, I'd just get in now before the flood gates open. I'm eligible, but don't consider my risks that high. I signed up on the Fairfax waitlist the other day, because the tier has been open for 6 weeks now. I'm not vaccine hunting, just waiting for my number to get called. I figure I'll get an appointment by late-April, about a week or two before it's available to the general population.
