Meh, that's my home state and based on what I'm hearing from folks there and doing my own sleuthing for myself, there's plenty of demand in NC. Also Virginia has already opened registration to under 65 with UHC, whereas NC doesn't open it to those folks until next week.

There are places that are going to run out of demand well before Arlington where I live. The question is whether more will be supplied here or if I have to go out and get it.
+1. Another one that is last on the list. I work for a manufacturing company, but as a lobbyist, so I don't feel comfortable claiming that spot given I still work from home.
I would not be against traveling to get a shot in a nearby state that has loosened its criteria so that I am eligible.

+1. There are 270K or so adults who are eligible for the vaccines. About 20% of them will likely not get it, at least in the next few months. They are hitting 3 million shots a day, and looks like they will be able to increase that in the coming weeks. I think there is a good chance those who want it will get at least the first shot in May, possibly June.

Anonymous wrote:My plan is to wait. As long as kids aren't vaccinated nothing will change in our home so it doesn't matter if we are vaccinated or not.
Anonymous wrote:I'll just wait. I can WFH. May/June/July isn't going to make a huge difference to me.
Anonymous wrote:I thought I would be waiting until May, but my employer was added to an employer-eligible group. Got my first shot today.
