[/quote][/quote] -Your child would be classified as a citizen of whatever country you are from. -He would become an American if and when you decide to do the same or at age 18, he would become a US citizen. (There could be a special provision that minor children whose parents entered the US legally and hold continual legal status, would automatically be granted US citizenship at age 18.) [/quote]
