This is not necessarily true. I think the vaccines haven’t been studied for stopping transmission, just whether it can prevent severe disease at this point. A lot of researchers are optimistic that it can stop transmission of the non-variant strains.

You do realize that optimism is not fact, right? As stated, the guidance that medical professionals are currently providing says that getting the vaccine will protect you but not others. Even if your teacher gets the vaccine, it can still be passed on to non-vaccinated colleagues, parents, etc. Please continue to wear a mask and do your part to prevent the spread. [/quote]
On my god. I wasn’t saying they people shouldn’t wear masks. I want to know what percentage of my kid’s teachers are vaccinated and somebody told me that it doesn’t matter because teachers can DEFINITELY still pass it along even if they are vaccinated. It matters. And people should still wear masks. [/quote]
