You can ask what the school policy is, but they aren't allowed to give out personal information about induvial teachers, so I doubt you'll get a response specifically about your child's teacher(s). -Daycare Asst. Director
Can a parent ask what percentage of teachers in the classroom are vaccinated if there are multiple teachers?
What difference would it make? You can still get COVID and pass it on to others, even if you’ve been vaccinated. Your only protection would be you getting the vaccine, not your teachers.
This is not necessarily true. I think the vaccines haven’t been studied for stopping transmission, just whether it can prevent severe disease at this point. A lot of researchers are optimistic that it can stop transmission of the non-variant strains.
So yeah, it does make a difference.
You do realize that optimism is not fact, right? As stated, the guidance that medical professionals are currently providing says that getting the vaccine will protect you but not others. Even if your teacher gets the vaccine, it can still be passed on to non-vaccinated colleagues, parents, etc. Please continue to wear a mask and do your part to prevent the spread.

I'm not sure where you heard this, but it isn't true. Employers can mandate vaccines. They can demand proof of vaccination.
ummm not for this vaccine....
my employer mandates flu vaccine but not Covid, although encouraged and offered (hospital)
Your employer may not be mandating it, but why do you say that an employer would be forbidden to mandate it?

Not when it is approved under an EUA.
