I'm an equal opportunity voter - no matter what the person looks like - or their party - if they will open schools full time - they have my vote.  That's unusual for me but I think the backbone of our society is public education.[/quote]

He CAN'T open schools full time. He's just saying he wants to--an extremely popular position that he knows will get people to vote for him, even though it requires no actual work on his part as a candidate. Please think harder about what kind of governor he would actually be if elected.[/quote]

Earlier this summer the NJ gov said schools had to open in person. Now he later recanted but I’m interested in learning about the Gov power on this point in VA. I hope some VA politicos are reading this & that campaigns will start addressing this issue. Specifically I’ll be voting in the D primary for Governor first. [/quote]
