News flash:  read the CDC recommendation before making silly statements!  It’s at least six feet.

Correctly interpreting policy guidelines sometimes requires reading more than one sentence:

"Social Distancing [b]to the extent possible[/b]: Maintain a distance of at least 6 feet between people."

Also, VDH guidance which further expands the concept and even suggests 3 feet is fine if masks are being used (which they will be):

"VDH recommends that all schools, regardless of the level of transmission risk in a school, should:
● Implement strategies for all individuals within a school to [b]maintain six feet of physical distance from each other, to the greatest extent possible[/b].

o The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends “[b]keeping desks at least 3 feet apart, and ideally 6 feet apart[/b].” Maintaining less than six feet of distance should only be considered if all students are wearing masks correctly and do not have symptoms of illness."[/quote]

Right.  To the extent possible.  At least 6 feet.  Are you saying it’s not possible for ACPS to do more than the bare minimum when it comes to distancing guidelines?  I sure hope not.[/quote]
