Its not FOMO, its basically concurrent is taking a massive dump on DL instruction. So?  I am ok with that.  And you should be ok with DL instruction since that's what you picked. If you are not, there are plenty of other virtual learning platforms you can select from and enroll your child in.[/quote]

Concurrent does not equal DL.  Concurrent does not equal hybrid.  The Asst Supt for Instruction stated quite clearly in 2020 that it was an inappropriate model for students below high school age.  It's also not a small minority.  40% across the county chose virtual last fall.  That's a minority but not a small one.  In the anecdote area, there's also plenty of parents saying they chose hybrid based on the promise of a metrics-based decision to reopen but who will not send their kids if the infection rates remain as high as they are. It's so messed up. I chose hybrid when I thought it was actual in-person instruction. Not concurrent still learning on an iPad. APS totally botched this. If the lack of assistants is the problem, what is APS doing about this? Are they relaxing requirements, recruiting heavily, maybe tapping extended day staff that would like this option? [/quote]
