Good grief folks. Can we simply stop the misinformation. Click the link above to see that this is blatantly and absolutely false. The core MLS next academies and teams play U15 and U17 as well. [/quote]

And there is also U16 and U19. Anybody who thinks they are better off playing BRYC, Loudoun and McLean three or four times versus practicing at DCU, Bethesda or Armour four times a week and playing zero matches is out of their minds.  [/quote]

Agree, kids will get more out of a MLSNext season of practice than a full season of games and practice at an ECNL bottom feeder club.  I don't know what McLean is doing, but they look like at ass at U13 and U14 and so does BRYC in ECNL.

So what do you if your kid stands out at the ECNL level at a bottom feeder club, but if moving to a MLSNext club will just be another player.  I would say go MLSNext cause what they're teaching works and the kid would be better off of 4 days of practice and minimal game time than getting a lot of game time at a bottom feeder.  Plus, your kid will be exposed to smarter and more athletic players where they will need to up their game and compete.[/quote]
