Thanks for the link! It shows all the ECNL Boys standings for ages 13-19 for Fall 2020. Either the Carolina clubs are real good or they have a wider range of competition with stronger and weaker teams.

Agree, kids will get more out of a MLSNext season of practice than a full season of games and practice at an ECNL bottom feeder club. I don't know what McLean is doing, but they look like at ass at U13 and U14 and so does BRYC in ECNL.

So what do you if your kid stands out at the ECNL level at a bottom feeder club, but if moving to a MLSNext club will just be another player. I would say go MLSNext cause what they're teaching works and the kid would be better off of 4 days of practice and minimal game time than getting a lot of game time at a bottom feeder. Plus, your kid will be exposed to smarter and more athletic players where they will need to up their game and compete.

I've watched the U13B SYC vs Bethesda (Bethesda won 1-0) and SYC vs Armour (SYC won 2-1) games and ECNL doesn't even compare. Definitely will have my kid tryout with some MLSNext clubs for 2020-2021 season.
