As the on call OB was rolling me into the OR for my unscheduled c, she told me “don’t worry, the scar will be below your bikini line, and if you are wearing bikinis that don’t cover this scar, we need to talk about other things...” it broke the tension, made me more relaxed and she was also absolutely right.
