It’d be okay in these cases but still needs to be communicated to the team and parents.

Worst scenario would be when families invest big in a trip to get there and find that guest players are given more time than any player in the official roster.  A serious league should not allow this kind of behavior but the coach or club.[/quote]

Player cards should cut down on it- no club will let kids play in tournaments for another club unless it's a showcasing issue. On smaller teams it's just the way things work. If you have 20 girls for U12, you don't have enough for two teams but you have too many for one. A lot of clubs are no cut, so you may get 8 on one team and 12 on another with kids guesting both from the 12 member team and from younger teams [/quote]
