I understand your point.  To me, this particular incident is not so clear cut, though.  He was riding a scooter without a helmet, apparently fleeing from police.  He crashed.  It's awful, no question.  Should MPD have stopped him in the first place?  Maybe not, sounds like it may have been a pretext.  Was MPD negligent in causing his death?  Maybe.  Is it the same situation as George Floyd, Breonna Taylor or any of the other POC who have been killed by police?  No.  [/quote]
