You do understand that while Covid19 is new, understanding many kinds of long term organ damage is not, right? When you have scar tissue in your lungs, it doesn't matter that much in a big picture way whether that's from LUPUS or Covid19. Pulmonologists already know how it will impact the rest of your life. Similarly with kidney damage, etc. In cases where there is uncertainty, what I keep hearing about is shockingly worse than expected outcomes, not things like scar tissue miraculously healing.
