We actually had no issues, and the teams we played against also adhered to the rules, generally. We were horrified though by the behavior of some other teams in our same organization on other fields, both parents and coaches. It’s very coach and team specific. One of the easiest rules seems to be to prohibit anyone from being behind the plate (fence) unless they’re the parent scorekeeper, including either moving out or roping off any bleachers. That’s where everyone usually wants to sit and if you keep that free, that pushes parents to the outfield fence and, if you have the fence marked properly, it’s much easier for people to spread out and much easier to see if they’re complying.  The base lines are usually almost completely taken up with the players spread out in chairs. [/quote]
