[/quote] It's not rude, it's reality. OP asked if it was too late, she didn't ask for sunshine and roses success stories. The miscarriage rate at 40-44 is 50% and at age 45+ it's 95%. The risk of chromosomal defects is somewhere around 1 in 20. That's science, OP should make decisions with her eyes open to the reality facing her. [/quote]
