Use the Hakaa just to take the edge off. Lifesaver for me.
+1. This is one good/cheap/easy option to try 1st. FWIW, I used a PISA with my first 3 kids. I ended up getting a new one with insurance after each delivery. The PISA worked great with my 1st and 2nd but didn’t work as well for my 3rd (and it wasn’t the pump - I tried my older one too and had the same results). I got a Spectra S1 for my 4th and it was so much better - emptied me faster and more comfortably. You might want to try a different pump (highly recommend the Spectra).
I notice I need to turn the Pisa up lately. Which spectra do you have? I plan on BFing until the pandemic ends (don’t tell my husband!) so I think itd be a worthy investment.
NP - the S1 so you aren’t tied to an outlet. You’ll likely need to get either Nene supply or Maymom flanges from Amazon if you need smaller ones since Spectra doesn’t go smaller than I think 24mm.
