We usually get left out of the friend groups that do family/couple things after the first invitation because DH always finds a way to make it subtly clear to everyone that he doesn’t want to socialize. I got tired of his passive-aggressive behavior so we just don’t go anywhere fun with him and save the fun for ourselves.
